SalesGenie.com: If you're looking for leads, you've come to teh right place. SalesGenie offers leads on virtually every company in the United States, from small 1-person operations to the largest multi-billion dollar enterprises. (No freebies here, though. It's only a "pay" site).

Business.com: With more than 65,000 categories of business information, you are sure to find what you are looking for. And to make sure that it's not a "needle in a haystack", they have a powerful search feature.

LinkedIn: Hands down, there is simply no better business networking tool out there today. With more than 15 million professionals on-line...and growing everyday...it is one of the best ways to get--and stay--connected. There are varying levels of membership--one of which is free.

Plaxo: Tired of notifying everyone you know when you change an address, phone number, or any other contact information? Plaxo is an online contact information tool that automatically updates everyone else in your network of any changes (from a new phone extension to a completely new job). You decide what information to share and with whom. There are varying levels of membership--one of which is free.

Topix: There is no shortage of news sites: Bloomberg, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, etc. Topix is a bit more unique, however. It is real news...in real time, but they've managed to combine the best parts of business news, community forum, and blog all into one place. There is no charge for this service.
